Remember Sydneigh? (Hint: I made a video saying I was gonna be there)
Yeah, it died. Whoops, bad business decisions and the such.
Howeeverr, people I know pretty closely are making a SalvageCon, which is pretty much like a replacement-backup-salvage thing for all the people who got screwed over from Sydneigh being cancelled. This means many returning vendors and artists, revised panels (I’m probs gonna be on one this time), and tickets being as cheap as $10, or, even better, if you payed for a Sydneigh ticket, you get in for free. The con will only be running on the Saturday instead of the full weekend.
The catch is is that these people are paying straight out of their pockets and are running at a massive loss, so this needs as much signal-boosting as possible. More info about this straight from the horse’s mouth below.
Here’s hoping for a great pseudo-con!
And a final note, if you’ve been paying attention, PIKA Con is also a thing but completely unrelated, and not overlapping with SalvageCon at all. You could go to both if you so wish.

I would call it bad timing being right after my video saying I was going to it, but to be fair it was cancelled like, 10 days before the con was supposed to start. Either way that sucks.
