While at SalvageCon I met a fan named Tiitra who drew this picture for me, and it was the best thing and super cute and I love it and ahh it was so cool meeting people but this one made my day <3
Still recovering from lack of sleep (And also the VA photos were only posted just now (That’s Ashleigh Ball by the way aaa)) which is why I’m posting about this a few days behind, but SalvageCon was super super fun! Within a week of organization and booking and organizing and organizing this somehow became a super success and was very much worth it to go to, and all the vendors were cool and all the panels were cool, the auction was hilariously awesome, meeting fans was even cooler, and being at a panel was also super fun, all in all this was very much worth it and had loads of fun and would totally go again if I could.
10/10 would salvage again

Yeah, it died. Whoops, bad business decisions and the such.
Howeeverr, people I know pretty closely are making a SalvageCon, which is pretty much like a replacement-backup-salvage thing for all the people who got screwed over from Sydneigh being cancelled. This means many returning vendors and artists, revised panels (I’m probs gonna be on one this time), and tickets being as cheap as $10, or, even better, if you payed for a Sydneigh ticket, you get in for free. The con will only be running on the Saturday instead of the full weekend.
The catch is is that these people are paying straight out of their pockets and are running at a massive loss, so this needs as much signal-boosting as possible. More info about this straight from the horse’s mouth below.

And a final note, if you’ve been paying attention, PIKA Con is also a thing but completely unrelated, and not overlapping with SalvageCon at all. You could go to both if you so wish.

Yes, this is actually srsly happening, Ashleigh Ball (VO of Rainbow Dash and Applejack) who was originally written up to go to Sydneigh, is coming to SalvageCon!
She won’t be having any panels or the such, as that costs money (Which you may remember, SalvageCon doesn’t have much of), but she will most definitely be around for autographs and photos.
Woo woo everybody get excited!

I believe some sort of proof of purchase is needed, like maybe a printout of a receipt or something? Message them on their Facebook Page, they’ll know better than I do.
